Old superheroes don’t die, they just splutter out

Andreas Englund is an incredible Swedish artist that I came across recently courtesy of Juxtapox.

There’s something really pleasurable about the thought of The Phantom, squeezed into his lycra bodysuit with bulges in all the wrong places, eating a mandarin at the kitchen table. Or cuddling a pillow in front of the TV. And the way he brings the making of to life in more of a music video makes a great change from the overly-worthy, artist-as-god type films you usually see.
